Giving everyone access to a moment of calm with ULTRA-DÉTENTE

Since 2017, CASISMA has been designing ULTRA-DÉTENTE: rooms and equipment built to offer real moments of calm and relief.

The origin

A journey that began in 2017

ULTRA-DÉTENTE is the result of several years of work at the crossroads of four disciplines.

  1. 2017

Four fields of expertise around one question

A group of professionals set out to ease stress, bringing together sound, frequencies, psychology and electronics.

  2. 02

    A formalised concept

Faced with rising stress, these specialists formalised the ULTRA-DÉTENTE ©® concept.

  3. 03

    A physical reality

In practice, the concept takes the form of dedicated rooms and purpose-built equipment.

Sources of stress are everywhere. ULTRA-DÉTENTE offers time to recover, not a treatment.

A social issue

Stress is no longer a marginal subject

Two public reference points show the scale of the issue in France.

95%
of French people report at least one major source of stress or anxiety

Mental health, a national cause

Understanding

Stress and anxiety: two distinct mechanisms

They are often confused. Yet the distinction helps to tell what belongs to relaxation and what belongs to care.

Stress

Faced with a threat or a pressure, the body triggers a reaction: that is stress. It reflects the body’s response to an external pressure.

Anxiety

Anxiety, on the other hand, arises from the fear of a danger. It responds not to a present pressure, but to the anticipation of one.

What triggers stress day to day

  • An unexpected event
  • A lack of skills
  • Critical looks from those around you
  • A feeling of losing control

When to see a healthcare professional

Some signals should raise a flag. If they persist or recur, they call for medical advice, not a relaxation session.

  • Excessive fatigue
  • Sleep problems
  • Repeated headaches
  • Dizziness and vertigo
  • Nausea
  • Heart rhythm problems

In that case, see a healthcare professional.
